Mikey and I engage in an accelerated reading of Nick Land’s blog post Capital Escapes, written in 2014 and collected in Xenosystems. This short pieces is a nice addition to the readings we’ve been doing and the conversations we’ve been having; it touches on the statement Capital=Modernity=Acceleration (tech autonomization), it addresses the question of the Political when the Future has already been Enframed, and it reinforces the (properly) Marxist view that Capital is an Object unto itself.
